I have been shooting video here in Indonesia for around four months. This country offers amazing biodiversity and I love trying to capture it and put it all into my videos. I subscribe to the idea that a picture is worth a thousand words and therefore a video is worth a hundred thousand. So far I have only made two, I know this is a pretty low number for four months, but this is because each one takes around 50 hours of editing, not to mention the filming time. And although I very much enjoy creating these films, other more traditional school work takes priority. I edit all of my work on iMovie and shoot video with my Gopro. In this photo by Sue Hacking of me snorkeling with a whale shark in Triton Bay I am taking stills with a Nikon AW110 while shooting video with a GoPro mounted on my chest.
